The first three days of Intermach (15 to 17/7) – Fair and Congress of Technology for the Metalworking Industry, included access to technical knowledge through different formats, which attracted industry professionals for more than 40 hours of training. The Metrology and Quality Control Seminar, organized by the Sectorial Chamber for Machinery, Equipment and Instruments for Quality Control, Testing and Measurement (CSQI) of ABIMAQ, brought the most recent studies and references in the area.
SENAI/IST promoted the CINTEC – Congress of Mechanics and Automation, which positioned Artificial Intelligence and industrial automation technologies among the main subjects discussed. The intense program of Free Workshops presented by exhibitors complemented access to knowledge during the fair, addressing current issues in the industrial environment related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), ESG (environmental, social and governance) and Industry 4.0. Together, the events added up to more than 40 hours of training.
METROLOGY AND QUALITY CONTROL SEMINAR
This Thursday (17), ABIMAQ’s CSQI held the Metrology and Quality Control Seminar during Intermach. The event brought together experts in quality and instrumentation in the sector, who presented the latest studies, technologies and solutions to meet the demands of the metalworking industry.
The president of CSQI, Murilo Peixoto, positively evaluated the participation of the public in the seminar and the quality of the technical knowledge passed on. “Each year the seminar has shown that CSQI knows about the subject and this has had repercussions among the fair’s audience. After the event, the participants have been in contact with the companies and trying to solve the problems in a technical way”, he highlighted.
Peixoto also pointed out that CSQI has member companies that deal with the most varied physical quantities, such as force, sizing, pressure and volume. “Depending on the problem that the organization faces, it contacts CSQI, throughout the year, and we direct the demand to those who offer the solution, and in the seminar this occurs directly between the participant and the speaker,” he added.
Jonanthan Espíndola, from the company Massa, participated as a spectator and is satisfied with the experience and content shared by the speakers in the metrology area. “I got to know new solutions in the market, made new contacts and, this short period of time, made it possible to access several innovations. I intend to delve into the references provided, which can be evaluated for application in the company”, he reported.
EXHIBITOR WORKSHOP
The intense program of Workshops (https://intermach.com.br/workshops-gratuitos-2/) promoted by exhibitors was another option to access knowledge during Intermach. The main themes covered current issues in the industrial environment related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), ESG (environmental, social and governance) and Industry 4.0.
Jussimar Farias and Leonardo Kornowski, from Camserv, presented the theme “The future of IoT in Design and Manufacturing”, detailing the news of the solutions. “The workshops are a space to reach a larger number of people, pass on information about our main solutions and objectively present their functionalities and differentials”, detailed Farias.
Anderson Albino, a professional who works with project development, when attending the lecture said that the opportunity allowed him to observe in more detail the evolution and innovation of the solutions. “I was able to realize how much Artificial Intelligence is embedded in this market, in addition, the seminar brings the benefit of interactivity between the presenter and the participants”, he highlighted.
Ronie Carvalho, from Alta Vista Investimentos, attended the lecture “Modular Support and Fixation Solutions for Innovative Projects”, by Hartbau. “The solutions presented can bring savings in aspects often neglected by the industry. The workshops bring more detailed information, compared to a simple visit to a stand, and the fact of being able to choose what to watch, allows the visitor to do work focused on their area of interest in the fair environment”, he explained.
MECHANICS AND AUTOMATION CONGRESS
SENAI/IST promoted CINTEC – Congress of Mechanics and Automation, with approaches focused on Artificial Intelligence and industrial automation technologies. The congress included the first three days of Intermach, from July 15 to 17.
Anderson Badziak, from Schulz Automotiva, participated in the program and highlighted the access to data on how other countries are evolving in robotics, especially South Korea, and believes that Brazil needs to follow these steps. “Another point that caught my attention was the lack of specialized professionals to work with robotics and how the work dynamics will be within companies with the increase in the use of technology. The industry is changing and evolving more and more and this will require us professionals to dedicate more and more time to research, studies and human development”, he commented.
