On Wednesday (16), the second day of the 15th Intermach, the Business Roundtable made it possible to present products and services, negotiations and networking between buyers and sellers of solutions for the metal-mechanic segment. With the participation of 80 suppliers and 18 buyers, 680 meetings were held.
The Round was attended by companies from the segments of innovation and connectivity, logistics, ports, metalworking industry, packaging, agribusiness, automotive, civil construction and white goods.
Ibsen Canziani, from Atlas Copco Compressores, debuted in the Business Roundtable as a sponsor because he believes in the event’s model to present solutions and have access to several contacts in a single day. “It was very positive, I made qualified contacts, I was able to understand the demands of the companies and propose solutions”, he detailed.
Luziane Moura, buyer of the Port of Itapoá, who has participated in other editions, highlights the opportunity to meet new suppliers during the event. “I had access to what companies have to offer for our work and I intend to schedule meetings to develop new suppliers,” he commented.
Another company that returned to the Business Roundtable is Higra Mining, which was satisfied with the productivity of the event. “We talked to suppliers from different areas and we have the prospect of closing deals in the coming months. In fact, in the Intermach Round two years ago, we closed important partnerships that continue to this day”, reported the representative of Higra Mining, Thiago Rosa.
In addition to the Business Roundtable, the fair’s environment was marked by a high circulation of people, with the corridors and booths full, throughout the period, from 1 pm to 8 pm.
THURSDAY AGENDA
This Thursday (17), the program of CINTEC – Congress of Mechanics and Automation – which brings Artificial Intelligence and industrial automation technologies at the center of the debates. On the third day of the event, the work will be conducted in the morning, from 10 am to 12 pm, with debates on “Additive Manufacturing Design in Metals and Laser Manufacturing Processes, in the Additive Maintenance Vision”. In the afternoon, at 6:30 pm, the companies Schunk, Alltech, ISI SM and Kuka will debate on “The New Era of Industrial Robotics”. CINTEC is held in room Bromélia nº 4. The intense program of Free Workshops (https://intermach.com.br/workshops-gratuitos-2/) promoted by exhibitors also continues on Wednesday (16). The main themes address current issues in the industrial environment related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), ESG (environmental, social and governance) and Industry 4.0. The Workshops will be held in the Margarida nº 12, Acácia nº 13 and Violeta nº 14 rooms.
Weld Vision, in partnership with Messe Brasil, also follows the Welding Championship. The competition brings together professionals from companies in the region and allows welders to demonstrate their talents and skills with the use of the latest technologies available in the market. The pairs compete at 5 pm at the Weld Vision booth.
