The 15th edition of Intermach – International Fair and Congress of Technology, Machinery, Equipment, Automation and Services for the Metalworking Industry – was officially opened this Tuesday (15), at Expoville, in Joinville-SC. The event, which continues until Friday (18), brings together more than a thousand exhibiting brands, in 250 booths, and highlights the strategic role of the South region in the Brazilian industrial scenario.
The opening ceremony was attended by authorities, such as the Secretary of State for Industry, Commerce and Service, Silvio Dreveck, representing Governor Jorginho Mello, Deputy Mayor Rejane Gambin, deputies, councilors, municipal secretaries, businessmen, sector leaders and representatives of class entities.
Representing the organization of the fair, the director of Messe Brasil, Richard Spirandelli, spoke of the relevance of the event for the strengthening of the Santa Catarina and national industry. “Intermach is a showcase of launches and innovations, and an effective platform for generating business. We are happy to provide this environment of connection and opportunities for all segments of the metalworking chain”, he highlighted.
With the expanded exhibition, totaling 26,600 m² of floor area. the 2025 edition of Intermach brings a robust program of technical content, including a congress, seminar, workshops, business roundtable and welding championship.
WEDNESDAY AGENDA
During Intermach, SENAI/IST also promotes CINTEC – Congress of Mechanics and Automation – which brings Artificial Intelligence and industrial automation technologies among the main subjects discussed. This Wednesday (16), at 6:30 pm, the congress will have the round table “Sisfoton: Applications of Laser Technologies in the Industrial Environment” that brings together the secretary of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), Felipe Silva Bellucci, José Rizzo, director of Accenture/POLUX, moderated by Professor Luís Gonzaga Trabasco. The intense program of Free Workshops (https://intermach.com.br/workshops-gratuitos-2/) promoted by exhibitors continues on Wednesday (16). The main themes address current issues in the industrial environment related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), ESG (environmental, social and governance) and Industry 4.0. The Workshops will be held in the Margarida nº 12, Acácia nº 13 and Violeta nº 14 rooms.
BUSINESS ROUNDTABLE
On Wednesday (16), in addition to the fair, the business opportunity is expanded to the Business Roundtable. Buyers and sellers participate in one-on-one meetings, with mutual interests in the demand and supply of products and services. Sponsored by Atlas Copco, the event gives each company the opportunity to participate in dozens of meetings in a single day, with a focus on business, in addition to starting a relationship that creates results in the medium and long term. As anchors of the event interested in solutions, Messe Brasil brings together 18 companies that consume raw materials, machinery, equipment and services related to the metalworking sector. On the other hand, about 70 companies should participate with the offer of products and services, among them exhibitors at the fair. The Business Roundtable will be held throughout the day, starting at 8:30 am, in the Entrance Hall of Expoville.
WELDING CHAMPIONSHIP
Specialized in welding and cutting equipment, Weld Vision in partnership with Messe Brasil, holds the 2025 Welding Championship, during Intermach. The competition brings together professionals from companies in the region and allows welders to demonstrate their talents and skills with the use of the latest technologies available in the market. The pairs compete at 5 pm at the Weld Vision booth.
