Intermach’s commitment to sustainability is aligned with exhibitors’ actions

Consolidated as one of the main events in the metalworking sector in Brazil, Intermach – Technology Trade Fair and Congress for the Metalworking Industry, brings an innovation to the trade fair segment in the southern region of Brazil by adopting sustainability practices. The event, which brings together companies, specialists and technological innovations, features sustainable approaches in the solutions exhibited and content presented. The novelty in this edition is the specialized consultancy of the startup AKVO ESG, which has the challenge of implementing strategies aimed at reducing and offsetting the event’s carbon emissions.

With this unprecedented initiative for the trade fair sector in southern Brazil, the director of Messe Brasil, Richard Spirandelli, points out that the action is in line with the industry’s strategies for continually improving its sustainability practices. “In an environment where ESG practices are increasingly present, we are motivated to take this first step and do our part for a more sustainable future,” he said.

The technical director of AKVO ESG, Thomaz Tomazoni, says that the partnership with Messe Brasil at Intermach is strategic for strengthening the ESG agenda in the industrial sector. “Intermach can become a facilitator for expanding the role of industries in the ESG agenda, further boosting sustainability in the metal-mechanics sector,” says Tomazoni.

HOW INDUSTRY IS PRACTICING SUSTAINABILITY

At Intermach, 3L Soluções Industriais is presenting its innovative oil-removing skimmers, essential equipment for companies that operate CNC machining machines and use coolants. The devices are designed to automatically remove contaminating oil that accumulates on the surface of cutting and cooling fluids. This provides benefits such as increased coolant life, improved finish quality of machined parts, reduced maintenance costs and fewer skin problems for operators caused by contact with oils and greases. 3L Soluções Industriais skimmers are a sustainable solution, in line with ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) guidelines. They help reduce the premature disposal of refrigerants, recycle the oil removed and consume little energy.

DRAG’EAU, a leading company in environmentally friendly solutions for water treatment, will be at the fair, bringing its most advanced technologies for the industrial sector. With a proposal focused on sustainability and operational efficiency, the company offers innovative water treatment systems that do not use chemicals and are ideal for meeting the diverse demands of the industrial, commercial and residential areas. The treatment uses the DS-I methodology, a vortex system in which the water is forced to make a centripetal movement inside the pipes. This movement is possible thanks to hyperbolic spiral machining at the inlets and outlets of the equipment, which generates a controlled vortex. The vortex promotes proper structuring of the water and creates negative ionization, an effect that is fundamental for preventing corrosion and fouling in water systems. The reversal of polarity generated by the process cancels out oxidation and the stack effect, thus eliminating the effects of corrosion.

Dropsa is exhibiting its innovations in intelligent lubrication systems with 4.0 technology. A global leader in the sector, the company offers automated solutions that optimize industrial processes, increase the useful life of equipment and reduce maintenance costs. Among the systems featured are the new lines of lubrication pumps with IoT and Industry 4.0 technology, which guarantee remote monitoring, greater precision in lubrication and a significant reduction in operating costs. Connectivity with Dropsa.APP allows real-time access to performance data, maintenance alerts and advanced diagnostics, providing more efficiency and control for industrial managers. Dropsa systems are designed to significantly reduce lubricant waste, minimizing environmental impacts. Precise lubricant application avoids excesses and contamination, contributing to cleaner and more efficient industrial processes.

Global Hidráulica e Pneumática presents its wide range of solutions for industrial oil-hydraulic systems. The company differentiates itself in the market by using advanced technology in equipment with full traceability and customized designs. The maintenance services offered to customers help reduce environmental impact by restoring components to working order. In addition, oil-hydraulic products are designed to reduce energy consumption and increase the durability of components.
